Intro

There are many software tools out there that help create GIF animations from existing videos or new screen recordings. Very few of them help with post-production workflow to improve the animations by

• Adding text messages to draw attention to user
• Allowing various text settings like font and stroke
• Adding various effects such as blink, fly-in/out, grow/shrink, scroll and type
• Adjusting animation speed for individual frames
• Hiding unwanted frames
• Simple and intuitive UX with drag-and-drop and WYSIWYG experience
• Save the settings as a file for reediting

The few tools we tried fell short of our expectations. GIF.ti was born out of a necessacity to create demos and product documentation from screen recordings of a SAAS product. The final GIF files lacked the desired effect to draw user attention to some of the important features of the product. We solved this problem by creating an app that is simple and intuitive to use (drawing inspiration from iMovie). GIF.ti is an advanced GIF animation post-production processing tool to elevate your animations. You can add (multi-lingual) text (including emojis) with fill/stroke of varying size and color with the ability to add multiple texts and span them multiple frames with simple drag-and-drop interface. You can also apply various effects such as Fly-In/Out, Type and Blink to draw attention to your message.
